Holiday sales from last year have increased a whopping 88%. These strong numbers also carry over to software, where holiday software sales increased by 45% from the previous year on the GameCube. Games such as Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire helped increase Game Boy software sales by a gigantic 104%.

Per platform, software sales were down 18.5% on the PS2, 7.7% on the Xbox, and 23.1% on the Game Boy Advance. Nintendo's GameCube fared quite well on the other hand with a sales increase of 21.8%. As of the year to date through May, 1.69 Billion dollars of revenue has been generated, compared to 1.71 Billion last year, a 1% drop.

The teaser site which has just been opened can be seen here. Currently, further details on the companies upcoming GBA project have yet to be revealed, but with the game set for a December release in North America, expect new information shortly.
