Latest Pokemon Games Are Buggy

Financial In Market Those who have imported the latest Pokemon games from Japan, Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon Blue Rescue Force for the Nintendo DS and Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon Red Rescue Force for the Game Boy Advance.

Nintendo has learned of a major bug that exists in the DS version of the game. Normally, the DS game can link up with the Game Boy Advance game by pluggin the GBA game directly into the DS, which apparently works just fine.

The problem arises when you plug in a game other than Red Rescue Force into the DS's GBA slot while Red Rescue Force is running. Apparently, you stand a good chance of somehow losing the save game data on the GBA cartridge.

Nintendo wants to remedy this problem as quickly as possible by offering replacement DS cards for Blue Rescue Force starting on 12/8. The replacement will be handled via Nintendo's website and will take the form of a product exchange, meaning when you get a new copy shipped to you in the mail.

Of course you can just play the game and make sure that you only have the Red Rescue Force cartridge in the DS GBA slot. It's likely that this problem would not be included in any western release of the games.
