Pokemon On Fire In Japan

Financial In Market Nintendo's newest releases in Japan, Pokemon: Fire Red & Leaf Green are the hottest games in Japan right now. After only four days on the market the two games combined have sold OVER 1.01 MILLION COPIES!!! If counted seperately each of these games equal almost 5 times the units sold than the average top selling game.

With the release of these games, it also bumped up sales of GBAs as well. GBA SP saw a rise of 38% in sales and the GBA saw an increase of 61% in sales.

Nintendo continues to show that it has the ability to make great games that pull in great numbers. With it's performance in Japan being so good, can we expect similar number when this game hits the U.S.? Will Pokemon fever be coming back to the states? We'll have to wait and see!
