Wireless GBA Adapter On Sale
Financial In Market Starting July 15, the Wireless GBA Adapter will be sold seperately in Japan for a price of 2,000 yen ($18).
The wireless adapter allows gamers to play with each other up to 10 feet apart without the hassle of connecting various GBA cables. Of course, only compatible games will utilize the adapter, which now includes the Faminicom Mini (Classic NES) series.
Other than the series, there have only been three titles (all bundled with the adapter) to utilize the accessory: Pokemon Fire Red, Pokemon Leaf Green, and Mario Golf: Advance Tour.
Japanese gamers should note that those with the Famicom-themed GBA SP and a Club Nintendo membership in Japan can trade 400 membership points for a Wireless GBA Adapter at the Club Nintendo website.
Stateside, the Wireless GBA Adapter will be bundled with Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green this September.
