Trading Financial Future The street-level entrance to the station brings commuters out to Church Street, on the east side of the 16-acre Trade Center site. A curved roof supported by criss-crossing steel beams hangs over the staircases leading down from the sidewalk.

Forex Trading Software Officials hope the new station, expected to cost about $1.7 billion, will eventually be connected not only to the West Side subways but also to the proposed Fulton Street Transit Center on the east side of Broadway, where riders would be able to catch the 2, 3, 4, 5 and J, M and Z trains.

Currently, people walking the three or so blocks from the river to the station must navigate a series of maze-like walkways built around and above the construction site at Ground Zero.

Trading System Menno, who was general manager of the World Trade Center complex before it was destroyed, said the Port Authority - which owned the complex - is working to widen the pedestrian walkways between the station and the World Financial Center, on the river.

Fx Trading He estimated that some commuters have been spending up to $100 more a month than they did before Sept. 11 on ferries, NJ Transit trains and other modes of transportation to travel from New Jersey to Lower Manhattan.

Trading Card The turnstiles at the station were built to accept PATH QuickCards as well as the MetroCards used on New York City buses and subways. By the middle of next year, officials expect to install a system that will allow people to use one card for both PATH and the subway.

In Online Trading The $323 million cost of the temporary station, much of it paid with federal funds, is in addition to the $244 million spent to rebuild the tracks and replace equipment in the tunnels under the river, which were flooded when the towers fell, and much of the Exchange Place station, which also was damaged by water.

Online Commodity Trading While both McGreevey and Menno conceded that some commuters may feel reluctant to go back to the place where - by the most recent count - 2,752 people died, both said it is important to get the PATH back and up running into Lower Manhattan.

Line Trading Menno said there had been debate in the agency about displaying photographs of the Twin Towers on the walls, or even naming the World Trade Center station, but that the Port Authority decided it was better to acknowledge what stood on the site before.
